This role in Redhill seeks an enthusiastic Communications and Events Organiser to manage and execute events.

Description

The Key Responsibilities as an event organiser

Assist in creating and implementing organizational objectives and targets.
Produce content for press releases, news articles, and marketing materials.
Plan, manage, and attend internal and external events, including those outside regular hours.
Oversee event management, planning, and implementation.
Manage facility rentals to meet revenue targets.
Provide regular event outcome reports.
Write and update website content using content management systems.
Gather and share case studies with various stakeholders.
Build and manage relationships with media outlets.
Leverage partnerships to extend the organization's reach.
Maintain a marketing database and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Ensure marketing materials meet quality standards and obtain necessary approvals.
Photograph events, write news copy, and select images for publication.
Manage image release permissions in line with data protection regulations.
Create evaluation and statistical reports to measure success and suggest improvements.
Analyze data related to relevant sectors and competitors, and provide recommendations.
Prepare materials for events, including signage and collateral coordination.
Maintain and update operational records and databases.
Handle budget administration, including purchase orders and tracking expenses.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure service, quality, and price benchmarks are met.
Assist with administrative duties as needed.
Undertake training and tasks as required by the role.
Perform other duties as requested by the line manager at any location or event.Profile

A successful Communications and Events Organiser should have:

A strong background in organising events and managing communications.

Proficiency in managing a diverse team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Ability to work in a not-for-profit environment and uphold its values.

Experience in the Secretarial & Business Support department.

Proven ability to manage budgets effectively.

Exceptional organisational skills.

A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
