We are looking for a friendly, values-driven, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join the team, to support our colleagues and help us deliver our financial and corporate objectives and goals.
The role
In this role you will manage the day to day operations of the Finance department. This includes daily, monthly and annual tasks along with the provision of high-quality financial support, advice and management for the Group ensuring that all financial and accounting activities adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will lead on internal audit reviews and monitor & maintain robust internal controls and segregation of duties. You’ll also be responsible for the preparation of the annual Grampian budget, in year forecasting, variance monitoring and reporting and prepare relevant financial information and reports, coach and mentor others in regard to their part in effective budget management.
About you
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB recognised). With extensive experience in a Senior Finance role, you’ll have solid accounting experience including all aspects of financial and management accounting, preparation of management accounts and year end accounts.
You’ll also need to have experience of staff management and development with proven ability in leading and motivating staff.
