The Role
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our clients' purchasing team and optimise inventory management, aiming to balance cost efficiency with high-quality standards. This role involves managing supplier relationships and ensuring a steady supply chain that supports the company's operational goals.

Purchasing Manager Responsibilities

Oversee and guide the purchasing team to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive cost savings.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies, fostering strong vendor partnerships.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best-in-class customer service.
Monitor market trends and manage purchasing activities to ensure efficiency and supply reliability.
Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and process optimisation. Purchasing Manager Requirements

Level 4 CIPS certification or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle).
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to multitask under pressure, with attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
