Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Full Building Envelope

About Us:
We are a specialist contractor delivering complete external envelope solutions across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments in London and the South East. Our expertise covers cladding, curtain walling, glazing, roofing, and associated façade systems. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in full envelope packages.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of full envelope packages from pre-contract through to final account. Working closely with the commercial director, project teams, and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maximising value and maintaining contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial aspects of multiple full envelope projects

Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
*
Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial forecasting
*
Identify and manage variations, change orders, and risk items
*
Procure and manage subcontractor packages, ensuring timely payments and performance
*
Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams to support delivery
*
Ensure contract compliance and manage contractual correspondence
*
Provide regular commercial reports to senior management
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the external envelope sector
*
Strong understanding of cladding, curtain walling, glazing, roofing, and façade systems
*
Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
*
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
*
Proficient in commercial software and Microsoft Office
*
Strong communication and organisational ability
*
Based in or commutable to London
