Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Ball Production Operator to join our operations team. This role is essential for the production of high-quality ball products, utilising grinding and lapping machines. The ideal candidate will prioritise compliance with health and safety policies while maintaining excellent record-keeping and striving for continuous improvement within the production area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and implement basic operating and setting procedures for all machines in the ball production area.
Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of jobs, with a focus on reducing setup times and minimising scrap.
Manufacture balls according to specified requirements, optimising efficiency and output.
Accurately record measurements and document any issues affecting product quality and run time efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain proper setup procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions that meet customer specifications.
Adhere to all company policies regarding stock control, health and safety, and completion of necessary paperwork.
Maintain cleanliness of grinding and lapping machines as well as surrounding work areas during downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance and basic in-house repairs on machinery in the ball production area.
Undertake additional duties as required.Requirements for the Role:
