My client is looking for a pair of experienced duct cleaners based across the UK. Please note this application will be higher favoured if you have someone in mind to work with.

Job spec is Monday to Friday working nights.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, filters, ducts, fans, and vents.
Remove grease, oil, and other contaminants that accumulate in the extraction system.
Scrape and clean accessible surfaces and components.

Inspection and Assessment:Inspect kitchen exhaust systems to determine the level of contamination and identify areas requiring attention.
Assess the need for additional cleaning services, such as pressure washing or chemical degreasing.

Compliance with Regulations:Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations and codes governing kitchen exhaust systems and fire safety.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities for compliance documentation.

Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and clean all equipment used for extraction cleaning, including power washers, brushes, and chemical solutions.
Report any equipment malfunctions or damage for repair or replacement.

Safety Procedures:Follow strict safety protocols when working with chemicals and equipment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the safety of coworkers and occupants of the facility.

Customer Service:Communicate with clients professionally, discussing the scope of work and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Provide recommendations for maintenance schedules and improvements to the extraction system.

Work Schedule:Adhere to established schedules for cleaning services, including nights and weekends, as required.
Be available for emergency cleaning services, especially in cases of fire hazards.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience in kitchen exhaust cleaning or related maintenance work is preferred.

* Knowledge of kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, and fans.

* Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.

* Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

* Compliance with safety regulations and a commitment to safe working practices.
