We are working with an established chemical product manufacturing company based in Manchester. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £55,000 - £57,000 along with additional training and development. This role will be covering 4 sites in the north of the UK so flexibility to work at multiple sites is essential.

The Maintenance Manager needs to possess a strong hands-on background in mechanical and some electrical skills directly related to operating in a 24/5 manufacturing environment. Requires considerable working knowledge of production machinery, people management and industrial health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

* General maintenance management administration work

* Hands on experience assisting Engineers/Contractors when needed

* Completing permits, risk assessments

* Understanding of / experience completing legionella checks and PAT testing

* Purchasing new parts and spares

* Working within budgets

Qualifications & Experience required:

* HNC in Engineering (Essential)

* City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering

* NEBOSH / IOSH

* ATEX Experience
