Admin/Accounts Assistant
Our client is a leading company in the frozen food industry, specialising in the supply of frozen vegetables, fruits, and other food products. On their behalf, we are currently looking for an Admin/Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Location: Beckley, East Sussex
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), with the requirement to work full-time hours during the Administration Manager's annual leave.
Hourly Rate: £14.56 per hour (weekly pay)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day (9am to 1pm)
Alternatively, Monday to Thursday, 5 hours per day (9am to 2pm)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
Reconcile company credit card and bank accounts.
Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts.
Process customer orders and update relevant spreadsheets.
Update stock spreadsheets as required.
Arrange import/export paperwork as needed.
Provide assistance to any team member as required.
Coordinate logistics.
Perform any other tasks as needed. Skills Required:
Experience with purchase/sales ledgers and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in using Xero software and Excel.
High accuracy in handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Clear written and verbal communication with team members and clients
