SEN Teaching Assistant | Haringey, N11 | £90-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent | January 2025

About the Role:
LTF Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey, N11, to recruit a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This role focuses on supporting a Year 5 student with special educational needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo, playing a vital role in ensuring the child receives tailored support and encouragement within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and stay engaged in their learning.
Assist in the implementation of the child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
Support the development of social, emotional, and behavioural skills through positive interactions.
Create and adapt resources to meet the pupil's individual learning needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and report on progress.
Foster a calm and supportive learning environment to encourage the child's independence and confidence.Requirements:

Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEN.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) are advantageous.
