Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Denver, Norfolk - Fitout sub-contractor

Our client are a Fit Out sub-contractor that are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Important details for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor applying for this role:

* To consult with the Client / Suppliers and Manufacturers as well as others to determine the scenic and scope requirements for a particular project, and to discuss with them any issues arising out of this process.

* To produce monthly valuations, control weekly wage booking, deal with wage queries, price variations, manage non-recoverable costs and other information as required for successful surveying of each project.

* To monitor SCL’s cash collection on regular basis and to report any updates to the project(s) progress.

* To seek information from Suppliers and manufacturers

Qualifications:

* At least 3 years experience in Quantity Surveying

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* Pro-active and flexible approach to work

* Ability to work under own initiative

* Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access

* 3 plus years experience in internal drylining, screeding, suspended ceilings, lightweight steel framing, insulated render systems, render systems, rainscreen cladding systems and curtain walling, windows & doors

* Attend Mid-Tender, Pre-Order, Pre-Start and Design Team meetings (as required) – both at our Offices, Clients and Architects HQ’s and On Site.

* To be aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation and other legal requirements affecting the areas of responsibility.
