THE ROLE:

The role will require a close working relationship with Engineering, Production and Customers to ensure up front quality planning, customer requirements and manufacturing issues are managed in line with QA procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work with engineering to embed quality control requirements with the build documentation.

* Review customer quality requirements and flow down to applicable departments & documentation

* Monitor, maintain, & make continuous improvements of manufacturing processes & documentation.

* Product Inspection & quality sign off.

* Authorise the release of product to the customer

* Preparation & sign off for deliverable Manufacturing quality packs.

* Be part of the non-conformance process.

* Undertaking of FAIR’s to customer requirements or AS9102

* Monitor and gather production / quality process data for reporting.

* Auditing of the QMS & associated processes

* Working to IS09001

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

* Understanding of GD&T

* Ability to use industry standard inspection measurement equipment.

* Excellent Knowledge with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00

* Friday: 08:00 – 14:00

SALARY

Up to £43,000.00
