Kenna Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our client which is one of the UK's Leading Main Contractors.
This role is based on-site at their prestigious project near Worthing, offering an exciting chance to contribute to a landmark development.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the flow and organization of documentation across multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project-related documents are filed, distributed, and controlled in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
* Uploading of information on Asite.
* Audit quality check of all submittals
* Re-assign and publish all submittals
* Managing Asite protocols, lists, and libraries.
* Arranging access for contractors and external users
* Assist Technical & Commercial departments with collation of tender packages.
* To keep effective and efficient archiving of all electronic and hard copy documentation.
* Maintain document registers and ensure these are up-to-date
* To ensure document flow is carried out by all departments in a timely manner
* Organise and file hard copies of drawings and documents received
* Issue documents on Variation Orders to the construction department for programme advice and to the commercial department for costing, once authorized, issue to the construction department to enable Site Instructions to be raised and sent.
* Manage & issue customer change forms
* Arrange occasional document collection or delivery to third-party offices and sites
* Assist in the preparation of O&M & H&S Filing System including Contractors documentation and handover certification and commissioning trackers.
* General administrative duties if and when required.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Excellent organisational skills;
* Keen eye for detail;
* Ability to cope under pressure and multi-task.
* Asite experience
* Site-based construction experience minimum 3 years
