Business Development Manager – HV Electrical Contracting Specialist

Toro Recruitment is partnered with a leading HV Electrical Contracting Specialist seeking a skilled and qualified Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. If you possess a proven track record in sales within the I&C and Renewable energy sectors and have experience working with Utilities and high-voltage systems, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the I&C and Renewable Energy (private network) sector within the company. Your expertise in sales and business development, coupled with your understanding of HV electrical systems and renewable energy solutions, will be instrumental in expanding our client base, securing new contracts, and fostering long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and renewable sectors.

* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.

* Prepare and present tailored proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs.

* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with new and existing clients.

* Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met.

* Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify potential growth areas.

* Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in business development or sales within the Power Distribution, Renewable Energy and I&C sectors.

* Previously worked for an ICP, Utilities, HV Power Distribution company

* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on long-term partnerships.

* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a client-focused approach.

* Strategic thinker with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* A full UK driving licence is required due to regular travel to client sites.

* Competitive starting salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
