Job Title: Combi Operator/Picker
Shifts:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 00:00
Hours: 40 hours per week (includes a 30-minute paid break)
Salary: Hours: 40 hours per week (includes a 30-minute paid break)
Salary: £23,800 – 29,000 depending on shift pattern and experience, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
Overtime: Pre-authorized overtime available at time and a half, after 40 hours.
Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Combi Operator/Picker to join our team in Henstridge. This role involves picking and collating steel orders, unloading and loading lorries, and managing stock with precision. Training will be provided on the day shift, with the basic rate paid during training.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and collating steel orders and preparing them for loading.
Identifying and measuring steel products, ensuring accurate stock replenishment.
Unloading lorries, batching, and allocating steel to appropriate locations.
Planning and loading customer orders according to the pre-determined load list.
Attending all necessary training sessions.
Ensuring compliance with safety procedures at all times.

Experience & Qualifications:

Experience with forklifts or combi-lifts, working with steel, or in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
No formal qualifications required.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary dependent on experience, moving onto shift work, with additional shift premiums where applicable.
Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
