Role Overview:

As the Business Development Officer for Verity Healthcare Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our healthcare services. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase our market presence. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:

* Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, market needs, and business opportunities within the healthcare sector.

* Analyse competitors and stay informed about industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

2. Business Strategy Development:

* Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market share and revenue within the healthcare sector.

* Identify potential clients, partners, and stakeholders, and develop strategies to engage them effectively.

3. Client Relationship Management:

* Build strong relationships with key clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

* Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.

* Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.

5. Partnerships and Alliances:

* Identify and establish strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, suppliers, and other relevant entities.

* Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities and drive business growth.

6. Project Management:

* Lead and manage business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

7. Reporting and Analysis:

* Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including progress, challenges, and future opportunities.

* Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize business strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in business development, or a related role within the healthcare sector.

Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulations, market dynamics, and key players.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

Desirable:

Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience in managing large-scale projects or working with healthcare technology solutions.
