Job title: Transport Planner

Hours: 10:00am – 18:30 ( some flexibility )

Location: Halesowen

Salary: £22k-£25k

Contract: Temp to Perm

Job Description:

We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our team that has doubled in size over the past 12 months whilst ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicles and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Speaking to customers and supplier on the phone.

· Responding to emails in a professional manner.

· Creating export paperwork for drivers.

· Quoting for new work via email & phone

· Using Microsoft Office (Mainly Word and Excel )

· Preparing drivers paperwork

· Raising job files, costing & invoicing

· Liaising with drivers to ensure delivery of service.

· Scanning and Filing.

· General Admin

Knowledge and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in domestic transport and be able to work well individually and within a busy team environment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and commercial acumen is essential. We would like you to have European transport planning experience but this is not essential to the role
