The Role of a Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students' learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll work closely with teachers to assist in delivering lessons, provide one-on-one or small group support, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Your role may include assisting with lesson planning, adapting resources, and ensuring that all students have the tools they need to succeed.

Requirements for a Teaching Assistant

Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting all students
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
