Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit recent Sports Coaches and graduates who have an ambition to work in a school setting, to provide academic and behavioral support to pupils who require it.

This is a perfect opportunity to for those who are looking to gain experience for a future PGCE application or those just wanting a career in educational support.

We are specifically looking for Sports Graduates to work in SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) schools for those identified with ADHD and other behavioral challenges. Your role would be to work as a behavioral mentor on a 1:1 basis, using your sports knowledge to engage students in their studies and school life.

Location - Oldham
Position - Teaching Assistant
Type of work - Classroom Support
Position start date - ASAP
Duration/Likely Duration - Ongoing (long term supply)
Position end date - July 2024
Full time/part time - Full Time
Minimum rate of pay - £90+ per day
Hours - 8.30am - 3.30pm: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS -

Sports Coaching qualification
Previous experience working/coaching children.
GCSE Maths & English

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at the cost of £45
Provide two professional references that cover the last 2 years employment/education
