Our market leading client based near St Ives are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join the team due to organic growth. Working within the Design Engineer team, this is a full time, permanent role based onsite.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

* Assist in developing new ideas from scratch and creating proof of concepts.

* Create 3D CAD models and build in house working prototypes for testing and evaluation.

* Produce full specifications for product manufacturing and review.

* Manage pre-launch testing.

* Collaborate with team members.

The successful candidate will have:

* Experienced working with SolidWorks and CAD.

* Excellent communicational skills and team player.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience working within workshops.

* Previous experience working in an Engineering or Design Engineer position.
