Job Title: Stock Controller
Location: Rugby
Salary: £13.50/hr
Hours: 08:30-17:00
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stock controller to join our client in Rugby. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is well-organised and accessible, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to maintaining stock levels.

Duties

Receive and unpack deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Organise stock on shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and according to company standards.
Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock situations to management.
Assist with the rotation of stock to ensure that older items are sold first, minimising waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the storage areas and sales floor.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stock management and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in a stock or inventory role is preferred but not essential.
A forklift license would be advantageous
A good methodical & mathematical approach to work.
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical capability to lift and move stock as required.
