Due to a period of sustained growth and an extremely healthy ongoing forecast, this prestigious, thriving M&E Contractor is looking to recruit an MEP Quantity Surveyor to their team.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively at a high technical level with clients, members of the design team, other professionals in the industry. You will also have Cost Management experience and a pro-active, professional, self-motivated attitude to work.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Advise on services costs involved in building projects
* Provide the full suite of MEP cost and commercial management project services
* Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
* Advise on contract arrangements and conditions
* Undertaking pre and post contract work
* Monitoring of change with the scope of works
* Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain
* Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments
* Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates
* Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required
