Our client is a global automated materials handling provider at the forefront of innovative logistics solutions. They are currently seeking a talented Junior Project Engineer to join their growing team.

Role Overview

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of customer proposals from initial concept through to final presentation. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to develop integrated solutions incorporating standard, non-standard, and third-party products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Strategy

* Participate in quotation processes and delivery milestone planning

* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders during solution development

* Contribute to the generation of ideas, concepts, and schemes

* Develop designs within defined project scope and technical specifications

* Take ownership of sub-elements of the design process

* Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD proposal drawings

* Prepare site plans, elevations, and cross sections

* Develop supplier relationships to enhance design development

* Support application engineering team in costing proposals

Requirements

Essential

* Engineering degree (2:1 or higher preferred)

* Proficient in AutoCAD 2D

* Competent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills

* Effective time management and planning abilities

* Team player with self-motivation

* Ability to work to tight deadlines
