I hope you're well! I’m reaching out to let you know about an exciting Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner opportunity at a fantastic nursery in the Maidstone area (just southeast of Maidstone).

Role Details:

* Position: Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

* Location: Maidstone area

* Start Date: April 2025

* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (shift times may vary, but on some occasions, you may be required to work between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

* Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role:

This is a full-time position where you’ll be working closely with young children, creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that supports their development in line with the EYFS framework. Key responsibilities include:

* Planning and carrying out observations to support children's learning.

* Engaging in play-based learning activities to nurture social, emotional, and physical development.

* Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards are upheld.

* Collaborating with parents, carers, and colleagues to provide the best care possible.

* Supporting children with personal care needs where required.

Requirements:

* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or working towards one).

* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

* Paediatric First Aid & Food Hygiene Certificates.

* An active Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (this is essential).

* A passion for child development and education.
