SALARY: Up to £28,000 per annum dependent on experience
HOURS: 35 hours per week
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Credit Controller who can hit the ground running.
The Opportunity:
This position is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller based within an established reputable company in Syston. Role profile:
* Day to day credit control duties – managing and collecting debts from company debtors
* Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings with insurers
* Posting of bank receipts to accounting system
* Liaising with solicitors for debts which need referring
* Managing of proforma invoices to be sent to customers
* Routine statements and payment reminders for credit control purposes
* Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-paid debts
* Aged debt reporting for all credit control activities
* Control credit limits
* Setting up new accounts for the credit control team
* Invoice processing
* Various other duties as and when required
Person profile:
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
* IT literate
* Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
