An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician is now available to join a well-established Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. This role is purely based within the companies workshop and will involve working with the companies rentals side of the business. Whilst working with their fleet you will be expected to carry out work on a variety of equipment such as tensioners, HPU’S and more. If you have strong experience repairing, inspecting and diagnosing equipment within the Oil and Gas industry, you will be at an advantage to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

* Maintain detailed records.

* Diagnose and rectify issues promptly.

* Inspect and test fleet equipment before and after mobilisation.

* Ensure all tools are kept in good condition.

* Collaborate with the management teams and suggest improvements.

Essential Qualifications/ Experience:

* Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering.

* Competent reading and understanding mechanical and hydraulic drawings.#

* Good level of secondary education.

* Able to identify and use technical tools and instrumentation.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:

* HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering qualification.

* Computer Literate.

* Able to fact find, fault identify and problem solve.

Salary:

* £21ph

* Overtime + overtime rate available
