We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a thriving and passionate energy waste firm in TA6.  And due to continued growth, we are looking to recuit a Weighbridge Operator

JOB PURPOSE:                                To facilitate the delivery of municipal waste in a timely manner whilst adhering to the site rules

The day to day running of the weighbridge and recording information into Weightron. 

Management of vehicles onsite and the turnaround times of waste deliveries. 

Accurately and in a timely manner record weights & waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collecting driver signatures if required. 

Process collection and delivery notes and tickets electronically in an accurate and efficient manner. 

To immediately report any contamination or non-conforming wastes delivered to site to the appropriate Manager as well as any health and safety issues. 

Report any anomalies/errors with either the weighbridge system or the in-house operating system to the appropriate people immediately to minimise downtime or disruption. 

Carrying out driver inductions, ensuring all customers are aware of site rules and efficiently distribute information and guidance. 

Maintain clean working conditions in the Weighbridge. 

Dealing with Staff, visitors, contractors and public in a polite manner. 

Maintaining site security. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of all Health, Safety, HR, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures
IT literate with the ability to work on excel spread sheets
Excellent communication and organisation skills and able to work under pressure
Knowledge of the Waste & Recycling Industry would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.INDBRC
