Overview
The Product Manager will own products, lead Arqiva’s developments on LPWAN and be familiar with the market and technology trends. You will generate new ideas and drive improvements to increase market share. We need someone who is innovative and creative in their approach with a strong Product Management background and specific industry experience.
To focus on all segments, with water metering and sensoring is a priority. You will own the product vision and roadmap for LPWAN transport options and drive alignment towards it across the business and with external partners. The Product Manager will work with the rest of the Utilities product team to drive alignment of our offerings across the portfolio.

The role
* Maximise growth in metering and sensoring and deliver critical product development activities and product management best practice
* Own and drive the Arqiva vision and strategy for growth of LPWAN products to support utilities solutions Informed by market standards and technology trends and Informed by customer needs
* Business case creation for technology investments in LPWAN to Maximise sales opportunity with new capabilities on roadmap
* Drive Innovation especially based on technology, market trends eg myIOT
* assess/prioritise/ sequence change / project requests vs roadmap
* lifecycle management - resulting capability improvements
* Oversight of performance against products: manage early life issues. continuous service improvement , scaling, optimisation and improvements
* Product lead for engagement with partners suppliers (Sensus, MNO, Manufacturers) for product roadmap and development activities
* Understand supplier contracts and support their management
* Unify and align views from across the business to enable product innovation
* Drive alignment between water metering and energy developments
* Contribute to and promote product management best practice in Arqiva
The person
* Product management experience in B2B environment
* Commercial, technology and/or operational experience
* Understanding of LPWAN technology and market
* Knowledge of LoraWAn, nbIOT, customer expectations and customer needs
* Knowledge of waterfall and agile product development methodologies
* Significant experience acting as a product owner in a cross functional product development process
